Tarleton to offer new ace's program in computer engineering
Graduate students searching for an ace of science program in
computer engineering has a new alternative at Tarleton State University.
Tarleton will invite students in the fall for the first
semester of a program offered by the Department of Engineering and Computer
Science in the School of Engineering intended to prepare students for a career successor for studies at the doctoral level.

The computer engineering program is the first graduate
degree in the Department of Engineering and Computer Science. It includes
focuses for best in class art technology areas including cloud computing,
advanced networking and cybersecurity, VLSI (enormous scale integration) circuit
configuration, AI, machine learning, and computer vision.

"This program is going to upgrade the post-graduate
openings specifically for computer science and electrical engineering students
and widens research capacity of the department," said Dr. Denise Martinez,
associate dean of the School of Engineering. "We anticipate
beginning."
The educational plan includes advanced coursework as well as
autonomous research and projects. The degree is offered online and up
face-to-face formats.
Admission requires a four-year certification in computer
engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science from a licensed
institution. Students, in any case, will be considered on an individual basis
and might be admitted dependent upon the completion of fitting undergrad
leveling courses.
