After the President released the National Cyber Strategy in 2017, Energy Secretary Brouillette plainly expressed, "Advancing cybersecurity is a core priority for the Department of Energy." Advancing cybersecurity is a top public need, as well as a common duty of general public and private sectors to secure energy systems against cyber-attacks and cyber reconnaissance.
